My husband and I stayed at La Maracuya for 1 night at the end of our trip. What a great place to relax and unwind. Our villa had a great outdoor space where we enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening. Our room was super clean and the outdoor shower was heavenly! There is an infinity pool that has a beautiful view of the rolling hills and the ocean in the distance. There is a fridge at the pool bar where you can keep your drinks cold which was convenient. Betsy is the in-house cook, she made us a lovely carne guisado for dinner. It was simple and delicious. Breakfast was also nice. I really like the concept of the hotel, it is run and operated by people that live in the community, basically all neighbors that seem to be family. The hotel is giving them a place to work that pays well and is a good work environment. So you can feel good about your stay, your money isn't going to a big hotel chain.
